Rob Rogers leads Chick-fil-A Charlotte with a deep commitment to care, encouragement, stewardship, and generosity. His passion is creating a platform where individuals are seen, developed, and empowered to make an impact both inside the restaurant and throughout the community.

Our Leadership Development Program

Chick-fil-A Charlotte's leadership development journey is designed to build people, not just fill positions. Leadership is developed intentionally through real responsibility, meaningful coaching, and hands-on experience. Our program is designed for individuals who want more than a job and are eager to grow personally, professionally, and as leaders.

Phase 1 Foundation & Store Mastery

Building credibility through Excellence

 

This phase is focused on learning the fundamentals that make great leaders possible. Participants gain hands-on experience across restaurant operations while developing personal responsibility, emotional intelligence, and a deep understanding of Chick-fil-A standards.

What leaders focus on:

  • Front- and back-of-house operations

  • Hospitality, food safety, and quality standards

  • Personal accountability and consistency

  • Earning trust through execution

Phase 2 Shift Leadership & Execution

Leading people in real time

As confidence grows, participants step into active leadership during live service. This phase emphasizes decision-making, communication, and leading teams through fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

What leaders focus on:

  • Running shifts and leading teams

  • Pre-shift planning and post-shift reflection

  • Coaching team members in the moment

  • Handling guest recovery and difficult conversations

Phase 3 Systems, People & Business Management

Thinking beyond the shift

This phase expands leadership from people to systems. Participants learn how operational decisions impact the business and how strong systems support strong teams.

What leaders focus on:

  • Inventory, labor, and cost management

  • Hiring, onboarding, and team development

  • Scheduling, forecasting, and accountability

  • Managing systems, not just outcomes

Phase 4 Leadership Integration & Ownership Mindset

Leading with vision and long-term impact

The final phase brings everything together. Leaders apply their experience to meaningful initiatives, develop others, and begin thinking like owners focused on impact, stewardship, and the future.

What leaders focus on:

  • Leadership philosophy and values

  • Coaching and developing future leaders

  • Community impact and brand stewardship

  • Preparing for long-term leadership opportunities
